Children’s Choir Spring Concert (2013)

“The younger you start with singing lessons, the greater are the results that can be achieved!”

Children’s choir of Hellas was created in 2005. During the last few years, we have performed on concerts held by Mustamäe Laste Loomingu Maja (MLLM) as well as other locations. Every year our children perform new songs in Christmas concerts, Estonian Independence Day concerts and on the MLLM’s annual family day concert in the spring.
A lot of our former children’s choir members are now members in the chamber choir or they have continued with solo lessons.

Children’s choir is directed by the Hellas assistant conductor Maia Rotselain, who has graduated from the Georg Ots Tallinn School of Music and has gotten her experience as a teacher in kindergartens and schools.

We welcome children to our choir without any try-outs and the diverse learning methodology has proven to give the desired results. Naturally an important role falls also on the parents, whose guidance and support play a very relevant part in children’s musical development.

Children’s choir lessons take place in two groups.

17.00–17.45 I group (for children between ages 4–6),
18.00–18.45 II group (for children from 7 years and up).
