The chief conductor of the school, Aleksander Kaidja, has studied accordion in Nõmme Music School, has graduated conducting studies at the Georg Ots Tallinn School of Music in 1973 and finished studies in 1980 in conducting and music pedagogy at Tallinn Conservatoire (which now is named Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre).

In addition, he has covered the following courses:

  • Asian Institute of Liturgy and Music (Manila, Philippines) – vocal pedagogy  in 1994.
  • Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre – vocal development of choir, methodology of vocal activity and music therapy, (2002–2003).
  • International College of Music (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) – methodology of vocal education and folk music in 2006.

Work experience includes:

  • Kirkkonummi Community College (Finland) – instructor of accordion and vocal courses (1991 – 2001).
  • Mustamäe Children’s Hobby Centre (Tallinn, Estonia) – chief conductor of children and youth choir, vocal trainer of soloists since 1989.
  • Tallinn Community College – vocal trainer since autumn 2007.
  • Republic of Palau – guest teacher , summer 2013.

Children’s choir is conducted by Maia Rotselain who has graduated Georg Ots Tallinn School of Music and has work experience in kindergartens and schools.
